Where I can find other photoes of Alloy Sea Boat ?

From all the above-written answers I guess that lines plan and table of offsets are included into full plan of Alloy Sea Boat 6 m. Am I right ?

My question on under floor tanks.
Is it possible to email a rough sketch of the position of these above floor tanks?
[email protected] (I would grateful)

regarding my question on underfloor tanks. Why do you not reccomend this option?
I,m looking for deck space for fishing and I also have to cater for smaller children. this is why I asked about this option

With the 6m alloy seaboat. A raised forward sheer in half or cuddy design and full pod. Is this possible? I would also prefer a under floor fuel tank. Can you please supply approximate hull weight and full length thankyou.

is it possible to increase the deadrise to 17 or 18 degrees and use a larger reverse shine on the 2.45 beam. Plus the walkaround cab, can this be raised for more headroom in the bunks in the raisedfore deck version

Is this boat suitable for commercial fishing??

Would a 165amp welder be capable of welding the 3mm aluminium for this craft?

Hi
Where can you get the aliminium at $7ish a kilo i am in Hervey Bay QLD but would order it from down south if i knew where. alloy price and knowing where to get it is the only thing holding me back from starting
hope you can help
Terry E

to ask the question in Whatis the best finish for the boat, can it be left unpainted ifused in salwater-if painting is
recomended can this be done succesfully without a drying oven

Can you make available an estimate of the cost of materials required to construct the hull and superstructure (but not the interior finishing) for the 6m boat pictured?

Isthe 5.58 available in a raised foredeck and a center cab

Can this boat in a 7meter length support a single 225hp 4 cycle motor?

will this design in the 7 meter length accomodate a single outboard or sterndrive configuration in the 225 hp range??

I am interested in the 5.58 mt version of the alloy sea boat.Is this boat suitable to cross a bar.Is there any pictures of this version available. Is there any more iformation I can access. Regards mike stephens.

Hello from Canada.
I would like to know how stable this boat is at low spead and dead stop. I would also like to know if this boat could be disighned with a split windshield open self bailing bow platform I'm looking for as much open deck space as posible and still have a full windsheild possibly withsoft top.

Thankyou Robert Daffurn

Can this boat be built as a walk around cab?
Will the stern support 2/60 hp 4 strokes?

hi what hp 4stroke outboard (single) is required for the 5.8m version to get go holeshot and cruise speeds

Your pdf document states that this craft will achieve 35 kts fully loaded with 150hp. What sort of engines/engine is required to achieve the quoted 40+ knts on the initial web page for this boat. Does 2 80hp engines equal a single 160hp or is it not that simple? I asume that a single large engine installation would work out cheaper and easier than 2 smaller engines.

Do you have any links for boat trailer plans? If I actually follow thru and build a 7m tinnie it would seem a cop out to buy a trailer rather than build one to suit.

If a Hamilton Jet where to be used on this design, I assume that a V8 marinised car engine would be used also? If this were the case would the fuel consuption be horrendous compared to a similiary matched single outboard. What sort of speed would you get with a Jet and a V8? Say a 308?

What is the minimum and maximum power range for the vessel. I am not interested in speed but more cost of the powerplant, preferably a single engine.

HI'
Iam very interested in buying the pull set off plan's off the alloy sea boat 6 metre
can you tell me the price in aus dollar's
MANY THANK'S
PETER

Would this design take a jet drive and if so what size diesel/petrol engine would it need to match the twin 80 ob performance.

to ask the question in Can this boat be built sucessfully by a first time builder at home

will the 6metr alloy support a diesel stern drive? I'm looking at the Cummins Mercruiser 1.7 MS (120hp) which weighs aprox 300kg engine and leg

Do these alloy boats have wet/self draining decks?

Which boat would you recommend for two four stroke Suzuki 70 hp outboards. They weigh 170 kg each. The scuppers must be above the waterline when fully fueled. Regards Hennie Uys.

Which boat would you recommend for two Suzuki 70 4 stroke motors. They weigh 17 Kg each. The scuppers must be above the waterline when fully fueled. Regards Hennie Uys

Brian, The layout of this boat looks good for a offshore sportfisher (albeit a small one ). Would a 140hp suzuki four stroke be sufficient for a top speed of 30 knots and a cruise speed of 21-22 knots. I would like to build this boat at 6.5 m with a cabin structure as pictured but with an alloy top as opposed to the cloth bimini as pictured.

Is the pdf a full plan or do I have to buy the stock plan aswell?

are plans available to build this boat using composites like Durakore and if so what plank thickness would be suitable.

besides taking a lot longer to weld, would a 220 amp fronius majic wave tig welder be ok to weld up the boat

when you buy the full plans on pdf what does it take to get this converted into a program that my local metal work shop can use on there computer controlled plasma or router cutter kind regards simon oakley

It seems that 5mm plate is not available. What would you suggest 6mm or 4.5mm. Regards Hennie Uys

can 6 metr alloy boat picture made a full cabin cruser for inland or the 6.5meter and make available estimate cost of hull and superstructure only and the type of diesel motor will you recomended if can by available . regards carlos bairo
