| Other Info: |
Superb motor sailer layout. Good chain locker forward. Enclosed double cabin with shower toilet adjacent. Settee and double pipe berths provide additional sleeping facilities. Engine is under the wheelhouse with internal steering, dinette and galley. Large aft cockpit. A typical engine is a Volvo of about 40hp giving a speed with clean bottom of 7 knots and a range under power of about 580 nautical miles.
5mm plating. Frames 50 x 50 x 5 angle toe on the plating,and spaced at 760mm.
Simple mast head rig with a boomed number two used as main working jib with full main. For cruising with only two persons this may be preferrable to a furling headsail, but all options can be considered.

A super looking fast, medium size motor sailer with all the comforts. Just a nice size to build and outfit at a reasonable cost. Smart but not bulky looking.
By now, you may be starting to realise what an under rated designer Bill Bollard is. Always nature's gentleman, only now is the cruising world starting to realise that there is more to designing than relying on a continual stream of PR releases to keep in the public eye.
For example a Boden Seamist "Deltawing" came first in the cruising division of the Sydney Hobart race in 2002 and not a mention in any boating press. Yes it cleaned up all the latest cruising tupperware yachts. If only old Cecil Boden was here we may have got the first free round of beer ever out of him.
